Jillian rediscovered yoga after the birth of her first child.  Struggling with depression and anxiety, yoga became a way for her to create space and she quickly fell in love with the practice for its healing qualities.  As a nurse, Jillian has always been interested in the healing and wellness of others and she knew there was more she could do.  In 2019, she enrolled in a 200 hour yoga and meditation teacher training with Willa Worsfold where she was able to deepen her own personal practice while learning how to share what she had discovered in yoga with others.  Since graduating she has also completed a 40 hour certification in Trauma Informed Yoga.

Jillian's classes are designed to cultivate space for her students, each on their own path to physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual wellness.  With attention to alignment, her classes are taught in a vinyasa style, uniting body and breath to calm the fluctuations of the mind while reaping the benefits of a physical practice.

Jillian is a Reiki Level II Practitioner.  She offers private sessions and will sometimes incorporate Reiki into her yoga classes.  She also creates beautiful jewelry and Malas and her work can be found on CustOM Yoga Creations
